Forget tangled cables and complicated installations. The X5 Gen 2 uses AONavi™ 2.0 with network RTK (nRTK) and VSLAM 2.0 to navigate your garden accurately, without buried boundary wires or a separate RTK base station.
The upgraded navigation system combines satellite positioning with visual mapping, helping the mower maintain its route around trees, buildings and areas where satellite reception can be more difficult.
Create virtual boundaries, set no-go zones and manage unlimited mowing zones through the Sunseeker app. You can customise schedules for different lawn areas, adjust your settings and update your garden map whenever you need to.
The X5 Gen 2 takes obstacle detection a step further with Vision AI 2.0. Combining a binocular camera with upgraded iToF sensing, it can recognise obstacles during the day and detect objects in low-light conditions.
Whether it’s garden furniture, flowerpots or other everyday obstacles, the mower can adjust its route rather than simply bumping into them and reversing.
There’s also an upgraded 10 TOPS AI processor, delivering twice the processing capability of the previous generation. This helps the X5 respond more quickly to its surroundings, improving navigation and reducing unnecessary interruptions.

Not every garden is perfectly flat. The X5 Gen 2 uses a three-wheel all-wheel drive system to tackle slopes up to 60% (30°), giving it the grip needed for steeper lawns and uneven terrain.
Each wheel is independently driven, while the active rear steering wheel helps the mower turn smoothly without unnecessarily disturbing the grass.
Front-wheel suspension and large all-terrain wheels help it cope with bumps, roots and changes in ground level. Combined with its floating cutting disc, the X5 Gen 2 is well equipped for gardens that need more than a basic robotic mower.
One of the biggest improvements on the X5 Gen 2 is its Precise Edge cutting system, designed to trim as close as 3 cm from suitable lawn boundaries. That means less uncut grass left beside paths, patios and garden edges — and less work with the strimmer afterwards.
The upgraded 22 cm cutting disc now features six blades, compared with three on the original X5. Working at 2,300 RPM, the blades provide regular, consistent cutting across your lawn.
You can manually adjust the cutting height between 20 and 60 mm, while the floating cutting disc helps follow the contours of uneven ground for a neater finish.

Two years of nRTK and 4G service are included with the X5 Gen 2. After this period, an annual paid subscription is required to continue using the network services.
