Shop ECHO commercial robotic mowers at GroundTech for golf courses, sports pitches, schools, estates and other large grass areas. The range includes established boundary-wire machines alongside GPS-RTK models for wire-free, systematic mowing, with options covering individual pitches through to extensive multi-zone sites.
More about Robot Mowers
ECHO robotic mowers are designed for sites where conventional mowing takes up significant staff time each week. Instead of waiting for grass to grow and then removing a large amount in one pass, the robots mow regularly, taking small clippings from the turf and returning automatically to charge when required.
GroundTech supplies ECHO robots for golf courses, football and rugby pitches, schools, estates, parks and commercial grounds. The right machine depends on the size of the site, number of mowing zones, slopes, obstacles and how much grass needs to be maintained within the available working time.
The TM-850S, TM-1050 and TM-2050 use GPS-RTK navigation to mow defined areas without a conventional perimeter wire. Rather than travelling randomly across the turf, these machines can mow in systematic patterns and manage multiple defined zones across larger sites.
The TM-850S is the compact option in the GPS-RTK range and can cover areas up to 30,000m². The TM-1050 increases capacity to 45,000m², while the TM-2050 is designed for sites up to 75,000m². This gives grounds teams scope to match the mower to anything from individual sports pitches to considerably larger estates and multi-area facilities.
GroundTech also supplies the ECHO TM-1000 and TM-2000. These established commercial machines use a boundary-wire installation and remain a practical option for fixed mowing areas where a wired setup suits the site.
The TM-1000 is suited to smaller commercial grounds and individual sports areas, while the larger TM-2000 provides greater capacity for sites where more turf needs to be maintained. If you are deciding between a wired machine and one of the newer GPS-RTK models, the layout and future use of the site are just as important as its overall size.
Frequent robotic mowing keeps grass height more consistent without waiting for a weekly mowing cycle. Floating cutting heads follow variations in the ground, while the fine clippings are returned to the turf rather than collected after every cut.
For sports facilities, this can also allow mowing to take place around training, fixtures and other grounds work. Golf clubs and larger estates can divide the site into separate mowing zones and set the robot to work where it is needed.
Maximum mowing area is useful for narrowing down the range, but it should not be the only deciding factor. A 30,000m² open site can present a very different mowing job from the same area split between several pitches, pathways and separate grass zones.
GroundTech can assess the working area, terrain, charging position, mowing windows and site layout before specifying a machine. For larger projects, more than one robot can also be used across the same facility where this provides better coverage or operational flexibility.
GroundTech specialises in commercial robotic mowing and supplies ECHO systems across the UK. We can help with site assessment, machine specification, installation and setup, as well as ongoing servicing and support once the robots are working on site.
