More about Batteries & Chargers

Kress Batteries and Chargers

Choosing the right Kress battery starts with the power system used by your machine. Kress has different battery platforms for its domestic and professional cordless ranges, so voltage and compatibility matter more than simply choosing the highest Ah rating.

Kress 20V and 40V KrossPack Batteries

Kress KrossPack batteries are used across the 20V range and can also power compatible 40V Kress garden machinery. Rather than using a separate 40V battery, many 40V machines operate using two 20V KrossPack batteries. This makes the system useful if you own several Kress tools and want to share batteries between them.

Different battery capacities are available, so you can choose between a lighter battery for shorter jobs or a higher-capacity pack where longer runtime is more important. If you are buying a bare Kress tool, check how many batteries it requires and whether you already have enough compatible packs.

Kress 60V Batteries and Chargers

Kress 60V batteries are designed for the larger 60V cordless machinery range and use their own battery and charging system. GroundTech stocks 60V batteries alongside standard, fast and dual-port charging options, making it possible to add extra runtime or keep multiple batteries ready when working across larger gardens and grounds.

Kress Commercial CyberSystem

For professional users, Kress Commercial uses the CyberSystem range of batteries and charging equipment. This includes CyberPack batteries and high-output charging solutions intended for businesses running cordless machinery throughout the working day.

Which Kress Battery Do I Need?

Start with the model number and voltage shown on your Kress machine. For 20V and compatible 40V tools, look for the correct KrossPack battery. Kress 60V machinery requires the appropriate 60V system, while Kress Commercial equipment may use dedicated CyberSystem batteries and chargers. Battery capacity affects runtime, but it does not make an incompatible battery fit a different platform.
